Hi Sateesh, Locus Map for Garmin works a bit differently than Locus Map Watch addon for Samsung. The Garmin version only displays the stats of a track being recorded within Locus Map running on the phone – it is not possible to control the recording from the watch. As for the map – it used to be displayed on the watch screen but due to a change in Garmnin API it is no longer possible. Garmin actively forbids displaying of any third party maps on its watches. We are very sorry for that but there’s no help.

Hello, I have a Locus Pro Gold subscription and I have installed LocusMaps for Garmin on my Garmin Vivoactive 4s. Before I had Garmin, I was LocusMaps on my Samsung and it was working perfectly, both tracking and uploading the map to Locus’ recorded maps. However, with LocusMap for Garmin app on my Garmin watch, even though the activity was saved, it is not uploading to the recorded folder and I can not find it anywhere. Can someone help me how to fix/troubleshoot this?

Mam kúpený Locus pro aj Locus Map for Garmin, ale pred nedávnom my moje hodinky Garmin prestali zobrazovať mapu. Predpokladám že po nejakej aktualizácii.

Hello, unfortunately the map display does not work on the Garmin Venu. Only one grid is displayed.

Very interesting! I take it the Forerunner 235 will never be supported. Wished I brought the 245 instead now!

Hi Armin, we understand your being upset as this situation, caused by Garmin, is unfair both to you and us, developers. New update for Locus Map for Garmin issue:
Garmin released GCM version 4.21 which … solved nothing. Garmin Connect IQ team still doesn’t know when the issue will be solved and we eagerly waiting for new info from them. With the application, we targeted this summer-time and planned some very interesting updates to the app including adding compatibility to even more devices (incl. Fenix 3). But all this have to wait until the problem will be solved on Garmin side. On another side, we want to thank most of our users for the understanding of the situation and that you are willing to downgrade your Garmin Connect app (which is the only way how to make Locus Map for Garmin to work on Android 9 now).
