There is not a “grace value” but the speed is filtered (smoothed by software) so you shouldn’t jump from one zoom and back when traveling at a constant speed.

But i would like to have a grace value for this (either by time or speed) . So if you got stuck around a speed where you would switch zoom level (maybe because of the traffic) the zoom level will constantly flip.
