Just bought the Pro version and now read this. Sad to hear that you are moving to a subscription based model. Understand the concept on generating continuous revenue, but there isn’t any point to have to pay for yet another subscription for another service.

I was drawn to the Pro version because of the “Bike Computer” dashboard, recording tracks and the ability to synchronise to Strava. Was a good and cheap way to get all these features that I need. If the classic version loses any of these features and we are then forced to go the subscription route to get them, then it will just be cheaper in the long run to go out and buy an actual bike computer that can do the same job.

I don’t think that the majority of your customers are going to like/approve of this move.

As I’m using Locus for such a long time now, I will keep on using it in classic version. But sorry,..I’m totally against subscriptions. I would definitely pay for a newer version or a major upgrade,… but that would make it my decision. I already literally hate the Software I was forced to subscribe to use. I tend to not use it any more then I have to (i.E. Adobe) and I definitely doesn’t like the work with it any more. It gives me the feeling of being sucked out.
So I hope you really will give us the choice to choose…
Thank you for a great bunch of years of using locus without any sorrows!

Ein Abo kommt KEINESFALLS in Betracht.
Gerne zahle ich jeweils einmalig für ein echtes Major Release.
Aber sicher nicht für ein Abo. Dann eben kein Locus!

Na ja, wenn ich an die Zeit denke, die ich bisher in Fehlerreporte stecken musste, dann würde ich sagen, ich habe ein Abo bis zum Lebensende verdient.

Ihr arbeitet zu schlampig für ein Abomodell.

Bin neu bei Android. Hab mir Grad überlegt, ob ich die Pro Version kaufe, aber wenn ich das jetzt mit Abo so lese muß ich leider wieder davon Abstand nehmen. Eigentlich schade, da erste Ausfahrten mit der App ganz gut laufen.
