Hi, regarding Dropbox, the issue (new Dropbox API) has been fixed in version 3.70.19, available at https://bit.ly/lmVersions. The defunct Strava export is now being investigated.

Exporting to Strava suddenly stopped to work today while it was working last Sunday.
Is that related ?

Also integration with Dropbox for loading GPX stopped working some months ago.

Hi Gertrud, nobody has said that Locus Classic will be removed from Google Play. It is there and will stay there on the direct link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=menion.android.locus.pro. Also, you can download an APK from our repository at https://bit.ly/lmVersions.

Ich kenne mich im Classic gut aus und brauche keine Cloud. Den Support habe ich auch nie benötigt. Ich bleibe bei der Version 3. Ich finde es nur schade, dass die vom Play store genommen wird. Zumindest das könnten Sie belassen für alle die seiner Zeiten die App käuflich erworben hatten und auf den Support und die ganzen modernen Sachen nicht brauchen. Lebenslang hieß es damals und ich dachte es bezieht sich auf mein Leben. Ich eigentlichen Sinne kann eine Sache je nicht sterben nur der Mensch. War das eine bewusste Irreführung von Ihnen?

Ich brauche diesen ganzen Cloud- und Synchronisationskram schlichtweg nicht. Was ich mir wünsche, ist eine ehrliche Basic- oder reine Offline-Variante: Einmal zahlen für die Kernfunktionen der App und dann ist Ruhe. So lange es aber kein solches Modell ohne laufende Kosten gibt, ist Locus für mich gestorben. Nach 15 Jahren und unzähligen Einsätzen beim Wandern und Fahrradfahren fliegt die App jetzt endgültig vom Handy, da sie nicht mehr gepflegt wird. Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht, dass für Langzeitnutzer und offline Fans wie mich kein Platz mehr in eurem Konzept ist.

In reply to Fritz. Hi, create a complete backup of your Locus Classic data before transferring to Locus Map 4. Then you can restore it if you will not like the new app.

Hi, ich würde LM4 gerne zur Motorradnavigation ausprobieren und auch abonnieren, habe aber Bedenken, dass ich bei Nichtgefallen nicht mehr auf meine alte LM3-Version zurück kann, oder wäre das problemlos möglich??
