Nat\u00fcrlich entstand sofort das Bed\u00fcrfnis diesen Ort zu erkunden, zumindest f\u00fcr einen Tagestrip oder besser f\u00fcr eine mehrt\u00e4gige, genauere Erkundung.<br \/>\nNur leider fand sich keine anst\u00e4ndige Karte! Basis-Karte<\/h2>\n<p>Die Grundlage Ihres Karten-Projektes stellt die Basis-Karte dar die die Landschaft im fraglichen Gebiet wiedergibt. \u00dcblicherweise wird dies eine <strong>topographische Karte<\/strong> sein die folgende Vorraussetzungen erf\u00fcllt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Offline <\/strong>&#8211; Dies ist eine unbedingte Vorraussetzung wenn Sie sich in entlegenen Gebieten ohne Internetzugang bewegen<\/li>\n<li><strong>Detailliert <\/strong>&#8211; So gut wie eben m\u00f6glich wobei es oft schwer ist solch eine Karte zu finden<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gute Lesbarkeit<\/strong> auch wenn das Display im direkten Sonnenlicht liegt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eine gute Offline-Karte<\/strong> ist eine elementare Voraussetzung f\u00fcr Ihre erfolgreiche Unternehmung. Das Locus Karten-Portfolio enth\u00e4lt viele gute Offline-Karten aus denen Sie die beste ausw\u00e4hlen k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>\nEinige Punkte sollten Sie beachten bevor Sie mit dem Download Ihrer Basiskarte beginnen:<br \/>\n<strong>OSM-basierte Karten<\/strong> &#8211; also Karten auf Basis der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openstreetmap.org\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OpenStreetMap-Datenbank<\/a> sind in zivilisierten Gegenden eine gute Wahl, insbesondere in Europa &#8211; hier sind sie sehr detailliert, sehr genau und werden st\u00e4ndig aktualisiert. Woanders auf der Welt sollten Sie OSM-Karten besser nur in dicht besiedelten Gebieten verwenden.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping03.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping03-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Heruntergeladene Online-Karten<\/strong> &#8211; Eine Vielzahl hervorragender Online-Karten kann <strong>kostenlos<\/strong> auf Ihr Mobilger\u00e4t <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:maps_download\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">heruntergeladen<\/a> werden aber beachten Sie bitte, dass nicht alle f\u00fcr die Anzeige auf dem Handy-Bildschirm optimiert sind &#8211; sie sind oft <strong>schlecht lesbar<\/strong> mit winzigen Texten und  Details:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping04.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21677\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping04.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping04-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Karten von lokalen Kartenverlegern <\/strong>&#8211; meist sehr detailliert und genau, aber auch recht teuer:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping08.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21685\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping08.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping08-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Satelliten- und Luftbilder<\/strong> &#8211; sehr praktisch f\u00fcr die Planung von Routen, aber nicht alle Wege und Stra\u00dfen sind in W\u00e4ldern sichtbar, einige Teile k\u00f6nnen von Wolken bedeckt sein. Und noch eine Sache: Locus Map ist nicht auf Google Map API aufgebaut und enth\u00e4lt daher keine Google-Satellitenkarten (dies w\u00e4re gegen die Nutzungsbedingungen von Google). Daher sind Satelliten- \/ Luftkarten nur in einigen Teilen der Welt verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Reise-Route<\/h2>\n<p>Nun wohl, Sie haben die richtige Karte ausgew\u00e4hlt und heruntergeladen. Die Karte enth\u00e4lt jedoch nicht alle Pfade und Pfade die sie f\u00fcr Ihre Unternehmung ben\u00f6tigen. Sie haben nun zwei M\u00f6glichkeiten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zeichnen Sie eine Route<\/strong> mit einem der \u00fcblichen <strong>Routenplaner<\/strong> &#8211; wenn Sie erfahren im Karten lesen sind und Ihnen der Umgang Luftbilder vertraut ist k\u00f6nnen Sie Ihre  <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:tracks:planning#drawing_instructions\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Route h\u00e4ndisch erstellen<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Importieren Sie eine Route<\/strong> &#8211; Sie k\u00f6nnen die in  Locus integrierte Routen-Datenbank <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:maps_tools:gpsies\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GPSies.com<\/a><\/strong> durchsuchen oder eine <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:\n    manual:user_guide:tracks:import\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">extern erstellte Route importieren<\/a> und zwar als  <strong>GPX Datei<\/strong>. Die Auswahl an Datenbanken ist gro\u00df wie zB.  <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wikiloc.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wikiloc <\/a><\/strong>oder <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wandermap.net\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wandermap<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3. Interessante Punkte (POIs)<\/h2>\n<p>Wir haben nun eine Karte, wir wissen wo unsere Wanderung beginnt und welchen Pfaden wir folgen wollen. Jetzt brauchen wir weitere Informationen &#8211; \u00fcber Unterk\u00fcnfte, touristische Einrichtungen, interessante Orte usw. Locus Map kann hier zwei L\u00f6sungen anbieten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:points:locus_maps_pois\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OSM POIs<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; diese sind Teil der <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:\n  manual:user_guide:maps_locusmaps\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LoMaps<\/a>. Wie alle anderen OSM-Daten auch ist die Datenbank in Westeuropa oder anderen dicht besiedelten Teilen der Welt sehr gut best\u00fcckt, aber in einigen entlegenen Gebieten im Hinterland m\u00fcssen Sie auf alternative POI-Datenbanken zur\u00fcckgreifen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Externe POI Datenbanken<\/strong> &#8211; wir haben bereits einige von diesen Datenbanken hier vorgestellt und empfohlen, wie zB. <a href=\"https:\/\/poiplaza.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">POIPlaza<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscampgrounds.info\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US Campgrounds<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poi-factory.com\/poifiles\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">POI-factory<\/a> oder eine Datenbank speziell f\u00fcr H\u00fctten und Biwaks bei <a href=\"http:\/\/boudy.info\/hledat.php?txt=en\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boudy.info<\/a>. Jede dieser Datenbanken unterst\u00fctzt den Export der POIs als  <strong>GPX Datei<\/strong> und somit den  <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.locusmap.eu\/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:points:import\">Import der ausgew\u00e4hlten POIs<\/a> nach Locus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Auf nach  Alaska!<\/h2>\n<p>Unser Entschluss steht fest, wir wollen die die Kenai-Halbinsel in S\u00fcdalaska besuchen und die Seen im Hinterland  erkunden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"398\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21673\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping02.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping02-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping02-768x382.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Karten<\/strong> &#8211; wir haben uns f\u00fcr gescannte USGS Topo Maps entschieden.:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21679\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping05.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping05-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>OSM-basierte Karten in diesem Bereich sind sehr schlecht detailliert und andere Online-Karten sind schlecht lesbar. Leider erlaubt USGS nur 10000 Kartenkacheln pro Tag herunterzuladen. Daher k\u00f6nnen wir nur jenen Bereich herunterladen, in dem unsere Reise stattfinden wird.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Route<\/strong> &#8211; Bevor wir andere Datenbanken durchsuchten, haben wir Gl\u00fcck auf GPSies.com versucht. Und hurra, wir fanden eine sch\u00f6ne zweit\u00e4gige Rundreise, die am Ufer des Kenai-Sees beginnt:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping06.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21681\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping06.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping06-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>POIs<\/strong> &#8211; Obwohl die USGS-Karte ziemlich detailliert in Bezug auf Land und Gel\u00e4ndeformationen ist, h\u00e4tten wir gerne mehr Informationen zur Hand. LoMaps POIs auf alle F\u00e4lle, diese enthalten Berggipfel und einige Aussichtspunkte rundum plus einige Einrichtungen in einer nahe gelegenen Stadt Seward. Wir haben auch Campingpl\u00e4tze von UScampgrounds.info heruntergeladen und herausgefunden, dass ein Campingplatz direkt am Umkehrpunkt unserer Route liegt. Alles wird heruntergeladen und importiert und unsere Karte sieht nun so aus:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"622\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping07.png 350w, https:\/\/www.locusmap.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc_mapping07-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bevor das Abenteuer beginnt m\u00f6chten wir klarstellen das Sie <strong>immer zus\u00e4tzlich mit einer Papierkarte, einem Kompass und dem Wissen wie diese zu verwenden sind ins Hinterland fahren sollten<\/strong>. Akkus von Smartphones k\u00f6nnen leer werden &#8211; und dies passiert in der Tat auch h\u00e4ufig. Die Ger\u00e4te sind m\u00f6glicherweise doch nicht wasserbest\u00e4ndig oder gehen bei St\u00fcrzen kaputt. Das hei\u00dft, verlassen Sie sich nicht auf Smartphones\/Tablets\/GPS als das einzige Mittel der Navigation und Orientierung. Und packen Sie auch eine extra Powerbank oder ein Solarladeger\u00e4t ein.
