Dnes je to tro\u0161ku off topic,\u00a0ikdy\u017e p\u0159\u00edm\u00e1 souvislost s Locusem samoz\u0159ejm\u011b nechyb\u00ed. Ale o tom za chv\u00edli. Jako mapov\u00ed nad\u0161enci v\u00e1m chceme doporu\u010dit web, kter\u00fd je takovou v\u00fdkladn\u00ed sk\u0159\u00edn\u00ed v\u011bdeck\u00e9 instituce s n\u00e1zvem Oxford Internet Institute<\/strong> – Information Geographies<\/a><\/strong>. Zn\u00ed to dost odta\u017eit\u011b, nicm\u00e9n\u011b p\u0159i bli\u017e\u0161\u00edm pohledu zjist\u00edme, \u017ee t\u00fdm pod veden\u00edm Marka Grahama zde prezentuje velmi zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 v\u00fdstupy sv\u00fdch v\u00fdzkumn\u00fdch aktivit. Obecn\u011b se t\u00fdkaj\u00ed mnoha aspekt\u016f internetu ve vztahu k jejich geografick\u00e9mu rozlo\u017een\u00ed a je jich opravdu hodn\u011b. Pro v\u00e1s jsme vybrali ty, kter\u00e9 se nejv\u00edce t\u00fdkaj\u00ed Locusu:<\/p>\n

Nerovnom\u011brnost OpenStreetMap projektu<\/a><\/h2>\n

Ve t\u0159ech map\u00e1ch zde institut jasn\u011b\u00a0zn\u00e1zor\u0148uje stav pokryt\u00ed a aktualizace map OpenStreetMap<\/a> projektu, ze kter\u00e9ho \u010derpaj\u00ed i na\u0161e LoMapy<\/a>. Na OSM map\u00e1ch pracuj\u00ed tis\u00edce dobrovoln\u00edk\u016f po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b a jednou to bude mo\u017en\u00e1\u00a0nejpodrobn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed a nejp\u0159esn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed mapov\u00e9 d\u00edlo na sv\u011bt\u011b. Jak je vid\u011bt z prvn\u00ed mapy, z\u00e1kladn\u00ed pokryt\u00ed ov\u0161em zat\u00edm nejl\u00e9pe mapuje zem\u011b s nejhust\u0161\u00edm obydlen\u00edm a nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edm stupn\u011bm rozvoje a v grafick\u00e9m ztv\u00e1rn\u011bn\u00ed p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00ed no\u010dn\u00ed sn\u00edmky osv\u011btlen\u00ed Zem\u011b, po\u0159\u00edzen\u00e9 z ob\u011b\u017en\u00e9 dr\u00e1hy. Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed objem dat zauj\u00edmaj\u00ed Spojen\u00e9 st\u00e1ty, jejich\u017e pod\u00edl \u010din\u00ed 21% v\u0161ech z\u00e1znam\u016f OSM. N\u00e1sleduje Francie, Kanada, N\u011bmecko a Rusko, kter\u00e9 dohromady \u010d\u00edtaj\u00ed kolem 100 mili\u00f3n\u016f z\u00e1znam\u016f. Nejrozvinut\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zem\u011b skupiny OECD zauj\u00edmaj\u00ed 80% ve\u0161ker\u00e9ho obsahu OSM map.<\/p>\n

\"Hustota<\/a>
Hustota dat OpenStreet Map<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed hustotou dat se py\u0161n\u00ed Nizozem\u00ed s pr\u016fm\u011brem 1000 z\u00e1znam\u016f na kilometr \u010dtvere\u010dn\u00ed, n\u00e1sledovan\u00e9 Belgi\u00ed (700 z\u00e1znam\u016f). \u010ce\u0161i dost\u00e1li sv\u00e9 pov\u011bsti milovn\u00edk\u016f map a jsou hned na t\u0159et\u00edm m\u00edst\u011b ve skupin\u011b s N\u011bmci, \u0160v\u00fdcary a Francouzi (v pr\u016fmeru 400 z\u00e1znam\u016f na km2). Zbytek sv\u011bta je pokryt v\u00edcem\u00e9n\u011b v kontur\u00e1ch a ji\u017en\u00ed hemisf\u00e9ra je viditeln\u00e1 jen povrchn\u011b.\u00a0Nen\u00ed ov\u0161em bez zaj\u00edmavosti, \u017ee zna\u010dnou hustotu dat vykazuje Severn\u00ed Korea, na jin\u00fdch map\u00e1ch \u00fazem\u00ed s nelichotivou n\u00e1lepkou „hic sunt leones“.<\/p>\n

Podobn\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161ej\u00ed i mapy \u010detnosti aktualizace a st\u00e1\u0159\u00ed zaznamenan\u00fdch dat – nejobydlen\u011bj\u0161\u00ed a nejrozvinut\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zem\u011b jsou nej\u010dast\u011bji aktualizov\u00e1ny a nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00edmi daty. Nap\u0159\u00edklad v oblastech na Sibi\u0159i nebo v severoz\u00e1pdn\u00edch teritori\u00edch Austr\u00e1lie jsou data zna\u010dn\u011b zastaral\u00e1. \u010cesk\u00e1 republika je na tom op\u011bt velmi dob\u0159e d\u00edky m\u00edstn\u00ed velmi anga\u017eovan\u00e9 komunit\u011b OSM mapa\u0159\u016f.<\/p>\n

Ve Wikipedii zdaleka nen\u00ed v\u0161e<\/a><\/h2>\n

Wikipedia<\/a> je dal\u0161\u00edm komunitn\u00edm megaprojektem podobn\u011b jako OSM a zna\u010dnou \u010d\u00e1st (cca 3,5 milionu z\u00e1znam\u016f)\u00a0jej\u00edch z\u00e1znam\u016f tvo\u0159\u00ed geograficky definovateln\u00e1 m\u00edsta – Locus v nich samoz\u0159ejm\u011b umo\u017e\u0148uje vyhled\u00e1vat a zobrazovat je nad va\u0161\u00ed obl\u00edbenou mapou. By\u0165 se zd\u00e1, \u017ee Wikipedia poskytuje odpov\u011bdi na ve\u0161ker\u00e9 na\u0161e ot\u00e1zky, pr\u016fzkum Oxford Institutu dokazuje, \u017ee v oblasti geografie na\u0161\u00ed planety tomu zdaleka tak nen\u00ed. P\u0159es polovinu georeferencovan\u00fdch z\u00e1znam\u016f najdeme na \u00fazem\u00ed, zauj\u00edmaj\u00edc\u00edm cca 2,5% zemsk\u00e9ho povrchu! Le\u017e\u00ed v oblasti definovan\u00e9 \u010derven\u00fdm kruhem:<\/p>\n

Dal\u0161\u00edm zdrojem pro vyhled\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e9 Locus nab\u00edz\u00ed, je GeoNames. Jedn\u00e1 se o celosv\u011btov\u011b nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed datab\u00e1zi geografick\u00fdch n\u00e1zv\u016f, kter\u00e1 je voln\u011b p\u0159\u00edstupn\u00e1 a dokonce ji lze stahovat do offline re\u017eimu. N jej\u00edm pln\u011bn\u00ed se pod\u00edlej\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e9 zdroje, po\u010d\u00ednaje vl\u00e1dami jednotliv\u00fdch st\u00e1t\u016f a jednotlivci – dobrovoln\u00edky kon\u010de. Narozd\u00edl od p\u0159edchoz\u00edch dvou datab\u00e1z\u00ed GeoNames a\u017e tak jednozna\u010dn\u011b nekop\u00edruje hustotu os\u00eddlen\u00ed a m\u00edru hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9ho rozvoje jednotliv\u00fdch zem\u00ed. Krom\u011b zn\u00e1m\u00fdch kontur Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1t\u016f Americk\u00fdch a n\u011bkter\u00fdch evropsk\u00fdch zem\u00ed zde vid\u00edme shluky dat o velk\u00e9 hustot\u011b a n\u011bkde, naopak, kde bychom to o\u010dek\u00e1vali, jejich absenci. Tak nap\u0159\u00edklad m\u00edsta jako Sr\u00ed Lanka, Ir\u00e1n nebo Nep\u00e1l disponuj\u00ed hustotou dat mnohem rozvinut\u011bj\u0161\u00edch zem\u00ed. Ir\u00e1n je na tom podobn\u011b jako N\u011bmecko a dokonce Severn\u00ed Korea poskytuje data o podobn\u00e9 hustot\u011b jako Rakousko – Sr\u00ed Lanka je na tom je\u0161t\u011b l\u00e9pe. D\u016fvod\u016f je n\u011bkolik, mimo jin\u00e9 je za pokryt\u00edm snaha mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edch organizac\u00ed zmapovat tyto regiony kv\u016fli mo\u017en\u00e9mu riziku p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch katastrof nebo vnitropolitick\u00fdch nepokoj\u016f.<\/p>\n
